- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 10 small tortillas
- oil for frying
- preferably sour cream, guacamole or salsa for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheese, and taco seasoning.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Place a small amount of the chicken mixture in each tortilla and roll them tightly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, then fry the taquitos until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve with sour cream, guacamole or salsa.
Notes
- Feel free to add beans or vegetables to the filling for extra flavor.
- These taquitos can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
