- 10 corn tortillas
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup sour cream (for serving)
- 1/4 cup salsa (for serving)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the taco seasoning and mix thoroughly.
- Place a small amount of the beef mixture and cheese on each tortilla.
- Roll up the taquitos and secure them with a toothpick.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the taquitos until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with sour cream and salsa.
Notes
- For extra crunch, bake the taquitos in the oven at 400°F for 15 minutes.
