Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes and vegetable broth.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream, dried basil, salt, and pepper, and blend until smooth.
