Ingredients

- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Pour in the seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
- Add the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until the shrimp are pink.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Old Bay seasoning, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- This bisque can be made using frozen seafood if fresh is not available.
- If you prefer a thicker bisque, blend a portion of it and return it to the pot.
