  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil, then add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions, garlic, carrots, and cook until softened.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, then add peas, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the meat mixture into a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes and crumbled turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
