- 1 pound turkey bacon
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil, then add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions, garlic, carrots, and cook until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, then add peas, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the meat mixture into a baking dish. Top with mashed potatoes and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or rosemary.
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
