- 4 cups cornbread, crumbled
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and celery until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the cornbread, cooked turkey bacon, chicken ham, sautéed vegetables, beaten eggs, and chicken broth.
- Add sage, thyme, salt, and pepper; mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding your favorite herbs and spices.
- This stuffing can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
