- 1 pound beef sirloin
- 8 ounces turkey bacon
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups mushrooms sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add beef sirloin to the skillet and brown on all sides.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until they begin to release their moisture.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.
- Return turkey bacon to the skillet and mix to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, use additional sour cream.
- Can substitute mushrooms with other favorite vegetables.
