- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the melted butter.
- Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Transfer half of the batter to the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle with half of the brown sugar.
- Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.

- For an extra indulgent twist, drizzle with icing before serving.
