  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and cooled espresso.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
