- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground pork over medium heat until no longer pink. Add cabbage, carrots, green onion, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger; cook until vegetables are tender.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crunch, you can add bean sprouts to the filling.
- Serve with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
