Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onions, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon thyme, dried
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté until soft.
- Add garlic and thyme, cooking for an additional minute.
- Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Mix in the shredded chicken, heavy cream, and frozen peas.
- Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve topped with crispy turkey bacon.

- For a thicker soup, add more flour.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
