- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
- Add onions, carrots, and celery to the pot and sauté until softened.
- Stir in flour and cook for an additional minute.
- Add chicken broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and add shredded chicken, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then stir in heavy cream.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, you can add more flour to the base.
