Instructions
- Soak the dried cherries in bourbon for at least 4 hours.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar, chopped pecans, and cocoa powder.
- Stir in the soaked cherries along with the bourbon.
- Form the mixture into small balls and roll them in additional powdered sugar.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute bourbon with cherry juice.
- These treats can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
