- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg large
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup caramelized onions
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, caramelized onions, chopped turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of each meatball and return to the oven until the cheese is melted.

- For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like parsley or thyme.
- Use store-bought caramelized onions to save time.
