- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar

- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and sugar, then add yeast and let it sit until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and spices.
- Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then combine with dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle on sugar and more spices, then roll into a log.
- Cut into rolls and place in a baking dish. Let them rise again.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown.
- Let cool before glazing.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh spices.
