- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon chai spice mix
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and spread with a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, and chai spice.
- Roll it up tightly and cut into individual rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased pan and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, drizzle with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and milk after baking.
