- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and brown sugar and then combine with melted butter until crumbly.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon, then pour over the crust.
- Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until set.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use 8 ounces of cream cheese instead of the standard 2 cups.
- Add chopped nuts for extra texture.
