Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press this mixture into the bottom of the dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs gradually, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the diced apples and pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl it with a knife.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of white sugar.
  • Top with whipped cream and extra caramel before serving.
