- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of the dish.
- In a large bowl, blend together sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in the chopped apples and pour the mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set. Let cool, then drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle some cinnamon over the apples before mixing.
- Serve with extra caramel sauce and whipped cream if desired.
