Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large oranges
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Wash the oranges and slice them into thin rounds.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water; bring to a boil.
- Add the orange slices and simmer for about 30 minutes until translucent.
- Remove from syrup and place on a wire rack to dry for at least 4 hours.
- Once dry, toss the slices in sugar again if desired.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
- These can also be dipped in chocolate for an extra treat.
