- 1 loaf of rustic bread
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 1 ball of burrata cheese
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the bread into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the bread slices with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine chopped cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Let the mixture marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Once the bread is toasted, top each slice with the tomato mixture.
- Place a piece of burrata cheese on top of each bruschetta.
- Drizzle with additional olive oil if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For an extra touch, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes on top before serving.
