- 1 cup crushed pistachios
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the crushed pistachios, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs to the butter mixture and blend until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
- Gently fold in the blackberries.
- Pour the batter into a prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- For an extra touch, sprinkle some additional crushed pistachios on top before baking.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting for cleaner slices.
