- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually stir this mixture into the butter mixture until fully combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, do not overbake.
- You can add nuts for an additional crunch if desired.
