- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and sauté until crispy.
- Add the sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Add mushrooms and cook until they release moisture.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and serve topped with the beef stroganoff sauce.
Notes
- For extra thickness, you can mix in a cornstarch slurry.
- Serve with fresh parsley for garnish.
