- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 8 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Add the onions, mushrooms, and garlic, cooking until vegetables are tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Slowly add the beef broth, stirring continuously until thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over egg noodles or rice, garnished with crispy turkey bacon.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use lean cuts of beef and low-fat sour cream.
