- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup olives, sliced
- 1 package empanada dough discs
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the onion and garlic until soft, then add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and olives. Remove from heat.
- Place a generous spoonful of the beef mixture onto each empanada disc.
- Fold the disc over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

- Feel free to add additional spices or vegetables.
- Serve with salsa or dipping sauce of your choice.
