- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 box cornbread mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, prepare the cornbread mix according to package instructions, adding in the eggs and milk.
- Pour the cornbread mixture over the BBQ chicken in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cornbread is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
