- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
- 1/4 cup olives, sliced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the loaf of Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Layer the mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, olives, and cooked turkey bacon on the bottom half of the bread.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top.
- Drizzle olive oil on both halves of the bread.
- Place the top half of the bread back on, then wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
