A savory and moist turkey meatloaf loaded with crispy bacon, earthy mushrooms, and melted Swiss cheese.

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Add onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked bacon, sautéed onions and garlic, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
- Place in a greased loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, mix in some fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.
- You can substitute the ground turkey with ground beef for a richer taste.
