- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, eggs, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
