Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pounds chuck roast
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and Sriracha sauce.
- Place the chuck roast in a roasting pan and pour the sauce mixture over it, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until tender.
- Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Continue to roast for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Once done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve topped with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chuck roast overnight.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
