Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and Sriracha sauce.
  3. Place the chuck roast in a roasting pan and pour the sauce mixture over it, ensuring it’s well coated.
  4. Cover the pan tightly with foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until tender.
  5. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Continue to roast for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  6. Once done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve topped with chopped green onions.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chuck roast overnight.
