- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk for glaze
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the diced apples.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze, then drizzle over warm fritters.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the batter.
