- 2 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 large apple, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half the cheese, and layer the apple mixture on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese and top with the second tortilla.
- Cook until golden brown, then carefully flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from the skillet, slice into wedges, and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add nuts or raisins to the apple mixture.
- You can use whole wheat tortillas for a healthier option.
