Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Stir in the apple cider.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Let cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add chopped walnuts or pecans.
- These cookies can be frosted with cream cheese icing for an extra treat.
