- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add the egg, apple cider, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chopped apples or walnuts to the dough.
- These cookies pair wonderfully with a warm mug of cider.
