Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
- In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat and sear the pork on all sides.
- Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Pour in the apple cider and add thyme.
- Cover and transfer to the oven, cooking for 3-4 hours until the pork is tender.
