Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 12 medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt until well combined.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan evenly and bake for 15 minutes.
- While the crust is baking, melt dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Layer the pitted medjool dates on the crust, then pour the melted chocolate over them.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute almond flour with another nut flour if preferred.
- For a more decadent treat, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate layer.
